As our Design Admin Assistant, you’ll provide the product design team with administrative and creative support in all key processes through the design cycle, to achieve creative profitable & sustainable products that excite & delight our customers and reinforce Seasalt brand values, reflecting our key design messages.

This role is offered as a full-time, 12 month contract position and is based in Cornwall.

Whilst we offer flexible working here at Seasalt - The expectation is to be in the office 3 days per week in Falmouth. The remainder of the time will be from home at the discretion of your line manager.

Youll help us by:

Ensuring PLM is complete at all critical stages in support of Designers and in line with requirements, enabling other functions to complete tasks on time. Adhering strictly to the product calendar & critical path.

Maintain the CAD library.

Complete Illustrator Design Files including accurate CAD sketches & design information, adding all supporting visual information, ready to load to PLM to support factory technical packs.

Request and manage labdip and knitdown requests from our suppliers – on behalf of the designer in line with Critical Path. Then assess, approve and comment on colour labdips and knitdown submissions to accurately achieve colours required by the Designers to help build a successful and cohesive collection. Communicate agreed colour comments from designer to suppliers

Building strong supplier relationships to communicate efficiently and source fabrics and trims accurately on behalf of Designers. Accurately updating all relevant libraries in PLM including fabric and trim information - ensuring it is up to date.

Manage and perform administrative tasks, working closely with all team members to ensure the department runs smoothly and actively strive for efficiencies.
