About The Role

Our Transport Supervisors play a vital part in the day to day operation and the customer journey by rolling up their sleeves to get things done. They also manage and work with our warehouse and delivery teams.

Our Transport Supervisors ensure that our day-to-day warehouse operation always runs effectively and that the warehouse achieves its objectives and KPIs set out by the business. You will provide support to the warehouse making sure that everything runs smoothly, and the company operate with full compliance.

  • Salary: £26,000-£29,000 per annum
  • Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off and 5 on 2 off rotational shift pattern
  • Start/Finish time: 4am - 1pm

You will:

  • Stay up to date with legal requirements
  • Strong ability to manage and motivate individuals
  • Adhere to HR processes and procedures, including investigations and disciplinary meetings
  • Set clear expectations for drivers and proactively address any concerns
  • Oversee daily tasks and ensure proper delegation
  • Update and manage daily and weekly reports

  • Possess a solid understanding of transport legislation.
  • Confident in people management.
  • Be able to navigate potential vehicle issues or damages.
  • Be a problem solver and make key decisions.
  • Have strong communication skills both verbally and written.
