We have a brand new job opening for an enthusiastic and experienced Electrolysis Practitioner.
Laserase is the longest running laser clinic in the north east of England. We were situated in the Freeman Hospital for 27 years until relocating to our own premises in Heaton in 2018. We treat both NHS and private patients. We pride ourselves in innovative, effective treatments and unbeatable patient service and provide advanced techniques in anti-ageing, skincare, hair and tattoo removal and more.
Our standard of care is second to none, from providing a friendly, relaxed environment from when our patients walk in the door, to in-depth consultations and personalised treatments carried out by doctors, nurses and aesthetic practitioners.
You will be required to:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance to specific aesthetic protocols.
- Carry out electrolysis treatments and take ownership of your clients progression.
- Ensure all customers receive a professional and courteous impression of the business.
- Promote the companies range of products and non-surgical treatments.
- Document all patient records
- Ensure patient confidentiality
- Comply with all CQC regulations and ensure you have read and understood all clinic policies and procedures.
- The chosen candidate will be self motivated, enjoy equally working within a team and autonomously.
- Occasional reception cover, taking patient calls and enquiries.
- This is a part time role but further hours could be negotiated. Must be able to offer one to two evenings per week up to 8.30pm and one weekend in the month (Saturday or Sunday from 9.30-5pm).
- Cover for holidays
We require the following:
- Min NVQ Level 3 in beauty therapy (or equivalent)
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent written and spoken english
Ideal candidates will have:
- Sterex training would be an advantage, but full training will be given.
- Industry knowledge and a solid understanding of clinical procedures and standards
- Obtaining client medical history and ensuring patient treatment record and consent forms are signed and completed correctly
- Have a passion for supporting a safe and compliant clinic and create a culture where best practice is carried out at all times
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised
