Overview
We are a Japanese unisex hair salon based in West London est.1987, we are seeking a passionate Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an oriental salon and be committed to providing high level service to our loyal customers. Your expertise in various hair styles and techniques, will be vital in satisfying our clients. We are very flexible with hours and days that you are available to work. It is a very relaxed environment whereby we all work together as a team to create a hospitable work place.
Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon environment.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and greeting clients.
- Engage in upselling of products and services to maximise client experience and salon revenue.
- Assist in store management tasks as required, ensuring smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years experience with oriental hair.
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong skills in barbering techniques are advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A valid hairdressing qualification or certification is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £12.00 per hour
